Arden Wells, HERO winnerArden Wells

Fontainebleau High

Arden Wells is an entrepreneur, a National Merit semi-finalist, in the top one percent of her class, and a gifted and talented student who has spent countless volunteer hours in service to others. She is the current President of the Fontainebleau High School chapter of the National Honor Society. Arden Wells, a senior, plans to pursue a career in geology and chemistry when she graduates in 2012. She is heavily involved in her church where she is an active member of the youth group and is a small group leader for junior high school girls. “I like to spend time with friends and time reading.” Arden utilized the downturn in the economic climate to start her own business. “All of my friends had trouble finding a job this past summer, so I started making and selling my hair clips and I actually did really well.”

Arden’s parents feel that she is well-deserving of her latest accolade. “We are very proud,” her mother Robin notes. “We feel like she already is a hero.” We wish Arden all the best in her senior year and congratulate her as our November Charter Business HERO Award winner.
